I was victimized by Cat Scan staff bullying and patient profiling at Tenova Turkey Creek Medical Center. When I first arrived, a female Cat Scan employee sneered at me, & talked at me in a loud, hateful & disrespectful voice. As she did, I noticed her making eye contact with a fat male employee who leaned forward looking at me menancingly. The woman was very pompous, arrogant, hostile and condescending. When I got into the Cat Scan machine the woman made more hostile derogatory remarks. When it was over and I started to get ... read more
In June of 2017, I thought I was going to be cremating my best friend in the whole world, Doug Thomson, and taking him home in a jar. He was in and out of hospitals all summer, spiraling downward. In September, he checked out of the hospital and signed up with hospice after telling a vascular team that he didn't want one or both of his legs amputated. Somehow we connected with Dr. Yasir Akhtar who is truly a wonderful and gifted physician. He referred us to the wound center here. Doug had 18 venous ulcers all together that w... read more
This staff is great, friendly, helpful, everyone has taken great care in keeping my pain levels as slight as possible. My hats off to everyone who has cared for me, Lea, Melissa, Patrice, Marta, Charlie, Dr. Walt, Dr.Susan and anybody else I didn't meet but helps the Center !
Not a very pleasant experience. Nurses in ER treat one as if just another number. ER Doctors cold, condescending with a terrible bedside manner. Would not recommend.
PLEASE BEWARE Appointment date 4/10/13, I was referred to Heritage Wound Care Clinic by my primary care doctor, Doctor. I had dropped a tool box on my leg and developed a rash. Dr. Lana S. Beavers came into the room, pointed at my leg while laughing and said that she didn't understand why I was sent there, that it was eczema. She never ran any tests to conclude that my rash was in fact, eczema. Dr. Beavers asked her nurse to take a picture of it. She then wrote a prescription for some cream and out the door we went. My wife ... read more
Top notch, clean cut All-American classic place. Rare to find any place of any size these days staffed by intelligent people with manners such as this. Nice to see quality actually still exists in small pockets of this once great nation, and Skyridge is a testament to that. Wish the freeloaders and inbreds who can't even string together a decent sentence in English wouldn't badmouth their FREE medical care. Or go home. I'd rather not have to sit next to you while in the waiting room, anyway.
My mom and myself went for our first appointement with Dr.Alqaqa was very impressed with him very concerning informative and talks to you like a regular person. Misty is his nurse and she is so sweet and good in what she does. Goes out of her way to help.
If I could give zero stars I would . I went there over chest hurting and shortness of breath they took blood work and pee sample after 3 hrs of waiting they came in and said I was good and didn't know y I was in so much pain gave me something for pain and got mad when I need to use restroom as soon as I started walking I ended up doubled over in pain so bad it brought tears and they sent me home . I wouldn't send anyone there there's a reason why ppl call them "die-ridge"
I went there to the ER for chest pain and in a hypertensive crisis.Once they had their IV lines and labs drawn they left me alone the entire time and refuse to give me something for the chest pain because the doctor said I was "drug seeking" because my BP was down. I had been using nitroglycerin prior to my arrival. I also had cancedr before and I was afraid it was back.I was denied any meds so I left and went home and take my pain meds from my cancer surgerys from a while back. Before I left they threatened to refuse to let ... read more
