I visited Skylos Sports Medicine for a second opinion regarding cruciate ligament surgery for one of my dogs. After an initial consultation at a different practice who I was referred to by my primary veterinarian, I had an uneasy feeling the practice and the surgery was not the correct fit. Our visit to Skylos was the complete opposite and I knew she would be in excellent care here. I scheduled her surgery on the spot! Hannah is now three weeks post surgery and doing very well. The entire team has been wonderful!

Every person we worked with here was awesome. Very up front and honest about cost and expectations. I certainly hope to never need them again, but would encourage anyone faced with surgery for their pet to consult herre, regardless of the option eventually chosen.
Our dog Kobi was having a lot of issues in his back right leg. He's a larger German Shepherd. Unfortunately, his leg got to a point where he wasn't putting any weight on it at all. Dr. Hummel examined Kobi and was able to treat him. Kobi needed a TPLO. We are extremely happy with the results from the operation. Dr. Hummel has been absolutely amazing, and Kobi is on his way to a full recovery.
