Great Place – I have been riding for 15 yrs and own my own horses thourghbreds and I had trouble keeping wieght at every barn I been to but don and the staff had no problems keeping weight and caring for them and the tack store is convient. Everyone is really nice and knowledge the horses always come first I help out sometimes. I have never seen them standing in mud and manure to there knees and they do use the stalls especially in the winter. Find another place – Do not go to skyline stables. The horses are out in mud and manure up to their knees 24/7. They are not allowed to be in a stall no matter what the weather is, and if you are boarding you are paying for full board. At times they are not even fed. The owner, well lets not even go there. He's a real fast talker but full of sh---. Find yourself someplace else to go.
Good Place For Western Riding – Skyline Stables is a wonderful place for horseback riding. If your more of a person who would like hunt seat I would recommend Manito Equestrian Center in Allentown, PA. Skyline is perfect for trail riding and western lessons. The horses are wonderful! Also it is so nice to see the cats and the owner's daughter running around asking people questions. The trails are beautiful and they bring the horses into the water in this river they have. I really enjoyed this place
