The staff here are great and they really seem to care about the residents. The activities are great! There are so many for the residents to choose from. Great interaction!
My mother suffers dementia and has been at Skyline nearing five years. I feel fortunate that the staff at Skyline treat her very well. The adult patients in the memory unit are well looked-after. Occasionally, my mother might get a small bruise on her finger or a little scape on her leg, and the nurses in her unit call me immediately to advise of what happened and the treatment plan (usually a small bandaid). The staff at this facility show kindness and care to my mother in law! The management and activity directors kept residents active and involved with new projects and holiday events.
I believe this nursing home is one of the best I’ve been in. I have worked in several as a nurse, but this time I was a patient. For a while no one knew I had a nursing background, therefore I could observe how they treated me, and also how they treated my roommate, who was in long term care. The respect they gave to both of us, was the same. The nursing staff was awesome, giving our medication when it was due and doing wound care.
