First-time visit to the Skyline Caverns, and it was a wonderful scenic place. It was a tour-guide-led tour, and we had a wonderful tour guide named Robert, who was very knowledgeable, kind, and very easy to ask questions to. He made sure all information was clear. And that the group stuck together. The tour lasted about an hour. I would recommend comfortable shoes for the floors. It's a bit uneven in spots, and it's around 50°. So nothing, too light or too heavy, was needed. A simple 3/4 pullover and jeans were good to wear.... read more
Ive visted this cave multiple times. Always a delight to see my guest expressions when I use this spot for my out of state visitors. Don't forget to purchase tickets for the Enchanted Mirror Maze after, which is in a building across the parking lot. I am also an avid knife collector, which the gift shop has a nice selection of. Great staff on-site as well. Thank you for another fabulous visit! See you again!
Front Royal doesn't have much, so when friends come to visit, we take them to the caverns. The tour guides are always great. Every tour is different with the guides sharing different pieces of knowledge. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.
