Following my 2nd hip replacement in 12 months it was decided by Southmead Hospital physio on day three I was discharged to the Sirona Healthcare Skylark Rehap unit in Yate. During my four days there I was cared for with professionalism and helped improve my mobility and confidence to enable my discharge to home. The unit in Yate is very good and a credit for the community and NHS which avoids bed blocking. I would like to thank every member of the Skylark unit for all the care I received while there.
Dad was at Skylark for a few weeks after he had left hospital. Dad was reluctant at first about going into rehabilitation as he’d always been independent at home, as soon as dad arrived at Skylark he was so happy and felt at home. The staff were extremely caring and lovely to dad and provided him with the upmost professional care. I can’t thank everyone enough for the care and support they provided to dad during his time at Skylark.
Our mother has just come home after a week of Rehabilitation after a replacement hip operation. She couldn't believe how lovely and professional the staff were. She visits from the physio to get her back on her feet and confident to get back into bed unassisted. The food was all home cooked and absolutely scrumptious, it has done her the world of good. I visited my friend today to take some fresh fruit in. After I left a nurse with may I say not a caring demeanour returned it to my friend to say there was no space in the fridge. Only to be told by another person there is space..... I suggest you spend more time on being kind and polite rather than on your bondi sands fake tan young lady! A complaint is winging its way to your superiors......Bullying is a very serious concern....
Fabulous care for my mum lovely people. One grizzle visiting times should go back to 3 times a day for loved ones friends and family 🌹
