Hulsebos saddle fitter was at my farm and related that the saddle Skylands Saddlery sold me was over 15 years old, had the entire seat replaced recently, and the broken tree area was very visible through the under lying midline spine of the saddle, and it had been there for quite a long time, as you could see the leather wear in that area.
