Our GPS wasn't very reliable; it initially led us to a different treehouse in the area, which is a cluster of various treehouses owned by different people. Fortunately, the one we had booked came to get us at the wrong location before we could fully unpack. The architecture was stunning and took 14 years to build, I heard. The owner had a fondness for Indian and Thai cultures, so there were many Oriental elements in the design. Bamboo was planted all around, and Buddha statues were placed strategically. Stayed for 3 nights. It's a beautiful spot, lots of bird life visiting each day. Be mindful when booking that the bathroom and second bedroom are accessed outside of the main house, down a set of stairs. This didn't bother us at all though feel it should be noted for those with mobility issues, travelling in a group or with children. We will definitely be back, it was a very peaceful relaxing stay.

One of the most peaceful stays we have had. This property is a pole house. Beautiful location in the middle of forest with no traffic sound. If you go with the right expectations you would enjoy it. Please note that the house is in separated sections: a separate bedroom on ground floor, separate bathroom/toilet accessible externally, lounge and kitchen are on 1st floor and connect via internal stairs to master bedroom at the top floor. The outside toilet was under cover so you can access it without getting wet in rain. Havin... read more
