I have lived here for a couple of years, and even though I love the location and the wonderful staff, I’m severely disappointed with the administration. I have a neighbor who constantly smokes weed and cigarettes in their apartment (even though it’s against the terms of lease) and the smell fills my apartment despite every attempt at getting it out. I recently toured Sky55, and while the building looks impressive from the outside, my experience inside didn’t live up to expectations. Upon arrival, I had to wait about 5–10 minutes before the tour began, which wasn’t a great first impression. One thing I did notice was that the residents were diverse in terms of background, which I appreciated. However, the overall atmosphere of the building felt unrefined. Terrible experience in dealing with the realtors at Sky55 who don’t communicate back to my realtor or me the client and Christine manager. I had to go in person few times to find out the status of my application only to be told twice after waiting two weeks that the first apartment is no longer available and a second time same result another apartment chosen no longer available, no one called or emailed us to tell me twice. Lived at Sky 55 from April 2023 to June 2024 and over all the experience was above average. Moved out since the re-lease rate was not competitive compared to other buildings in the area and the area in general took a down turn and got pretty rough. No issues until post move out below. Building is nice however the front concierge, specifically the lady with the pink hair is terrible at her job. rarely opens the doors or lets you in and is always eating or on her phone or talking and not paying attention to the front door. ridiculous
