I wish I would have taken pictures but there is no way a picture could show how absolutely breathtaking the night sky was. It was a bit windy but all in all the wind help keep the temperature cool. They are having NASA talks with some folks that also worked on the voyager present. The observatory was very personal but allowed for amazing views of the solar system. It was a dark and stormy night. Ok, just dark and because it was August-hot (because desert). Clear skies, a bit of light polution but got to see meteors zipping past the milkyway.
We were just visiting this place for the free telescope watching and casually there was a program, so we decided to attend, the ticket was $20 per person. NASA guys talking about the possibility of habitable planets, after that guide us with the laser light the constellation, some stories related to the stars.. me as a regular person with the basic knowledges regarding the Universe, it was totally worth to attend this program.
