Usually one doc on shift not equipped for traumas. Long wait times because when ambo comes in doctor and nurses have to attend to ambo patient. Wait times can be up to 9 hours or more. Hospital is short staffed because it is a rural community. There is TJ Maxx , Walmart , Fred Meyer and such but doctors and spouses don't want to stick around due to not enough indoor things to do in town. So there are not a lot of specialists here either. Horrible. How can the monitor keep chiming off and no one responds. The IV bag runsnout and an hour later when no one has checked on you , you use the call button and they will say we'll get a nurse right in. Our room was right next to the nurses station and we listened to her chat with other nurses and laugh and joke. Did she ever come in? Never. 3 hours later when the shift change took place the new nurse came in. Shame on you. NOT shame on the new nurse that took over. SHAME SHAME SHAME. Get a job at McDonald's or someth... read more
