My experience was pleasant. The manager is honest and very upfront with you. Yes the floors my have been a bit dirty (dusty) but the bed was clean, and very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet as well. The manager shows you the room before you even book so you know what you are getting. Location is very nice to the beach and more.
The manager and his wife lois were super nice and helped us with places to eat we enjoyed our stay keep up the good work lois and bobby this will be our new place to stay when in Florida
My experience at the Sky Islands Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, FL, was nothing short of a nightmare. The manager, who seems to have a tenuous grasp on sanity, turned out to be not only a thief but also an insufferable individual who lacks basic communication skills and is incessantly self-absorbed. Follow the rules, and everyone will be happy.. one of the rules is as follows: Be aware, when you book the room, it is for 2 people ONLY. Any additional person is $40. You also need to get the additional person paid for before they leave the office at 8pm or 9pm? Contact them regarding their front desk hours.
