I stayed at Sky Haus in Skykomish last night with my cat, and honestly I was a little nervous before arriving because I had seen some negative reviews after booking. But after staying there, I genuinely couldn’t understand most of the complaints. Yes, when we first walked in there was a very strong smell inside I think the previous guests had cooked something with a strong odor and we had to open the windows and doors for a while because it was a bit overwhelming at first. This was a perfect getaway from my husband and I. The jacuzzi was perfect, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the decor lent itself to being away in the woods. Everything was in perfect working order, the place was very clean, and the hosts were great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.
there were dirty dishes and cobwebs everywhere. it's not worth the money. Washing dishes by hand for half a day to have dinner after a long journey
The property is good but not great. The interior is 5/10. Sqeaky flooring and old structure. Unreasonably over priced. A little Instagram hyped but not that great when you actually stay. The owner asked for extra money for extra guest which was fine but the cabin says it is meant for 4 people but do not have big enough beds to sleep 4 people. Honestly I had a great time here. I can’t really relate to any of the negative reviews here; the price I paid seemed consistent with my other options, the cabin was clean and well kept, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My only real regret is that I didn’t make the trip out here when the autumn leaves were changing. Guess that means I’ll just have to come back out sometime.
