Just called sky fitness 2 minutes ago to gather information about their cycle classes. I was polite and willing to learn about the gym. The owner was extremely RUDE and short with me over the phone. She was hesitant to give details of any kind and acted like it was a bother that I even called the gym! Wouldn’t she want new members ??? I guess not! I will be looking elsewhere for a gym membership. It’s really too bad that she was so unpleasant !!
ok facility...starting to show its age. many bench, shoulder, and squat stations are missing a barbell, towel service at night has stopped completely, cardio equipment getting old and out of service...wondering where all that maintenance premium and membership fee money is going?????... it's definitely not going to keeping the gym 'new'!!! or clean and now instead of spending on new and additional equipment they 'modernized' the ceiling! bravo!: update: lack of barbells has been corrected. all stations now have one and there... read more
Great gym, fantastic trainers and awesome classes.
I really hate to leave this review. But SkyFitness was incredible. Key word. WAS. The new location is absolutely awful, let's be real. It was a relocation IMMEDIATELY after charging everyone their "yearly maintenance fee" which feels very unfair and premeditated. I have been with Sky for YEARS. In addition to the "new" location being too far away, its a rundown building with no parking and half the equipment. Heartbreaking. My review will be updated when and IF the circumstances change.
If I could post a 0 star review, I would. Ownership is unbelievably unprofessional, unethical, and dishonest. I loved the gym prior to its relocation. That said, I only found out about the relocation plans less than a week before it happened. They claimed it was due to member safety and hazard risk from the building they were leasing. They claimed new upgrades, better equipment, etc.. all this talk, just to move to a substantially smaller space, significantly less equipment, and a building that is arguably in much worse of s... read more
