I discovered skordo on vacation in Portland, what a beautiful find. Knowledgeable staff, excellent selection and good price for the quality products.
What a great store. Really nice people too! Went up the street for beer and fries And we brought our own salt! Sept 26 I'm using their Cyprus Flaked Sea Salt and it is great! Check out this rib steak with salt crystals on top.

I’ve gone to both the Portland and Portsmouth stores and am enamored with both. Great staff to help point you in the right direction. Not inexpensive but great quality. Different from anything you’ll find anywhere else. My two most recent purchases are Mocha Rub for steak and Espresso Sugar ( I use sprinkled on brownies) Not heavy on the coffee flavor but adds a richness and depth. Also , their recipe packets are great for when you want something different but don’t have the space or money for tons of spices. Great company !... read more
