These guys do great work, the diving services are reasonably priced (by the minute actually) and this can save you big bucks down the road in terms of problems you might have that require the boat to be hauled out of the water. They can easily clear a blocked through-hull fitting due to growth of mussels that might cause your engine to fail in some remote place. Poor service through their negative attitude and lack of communication. For the most part they were rude, moody and petulant. Skookum was very poor at communicating. They left you in the dark. They disliked dealing with the client. You are an annoyance to them. The co-owner/mechanic is knowledgeable, experienced and competent. The work he did was good. He performed the major repairs. These people are awesome! A few weeks ago, I learned the hard way of the importance of prop zincs. They had a dive crew out right away to help me take the old damaged prop off -- and as soon as the new one came in, they were there to install it. I highly recommend! You'll only get great service!
Wrestled my son's glasses from a crab and managed to return them! We are so grateful. Fearing I may need to put them on retainer as my son has a penchant for throwing his glasses in False Creek. Highly recommend them!
