I’ve been privileged to visit Skof twice, both times having the 16 course tasting menu and WOW. What an exceptional experience! Absolutely sublime, surprising and extremely tasty courses. The best aspect about Skof is - that as a diner with a wheat allergy- I have never been made to feel like a burden, or an afterthought. I got my own wheat free breads, tartlets, even tiramisu! A fabulous restaurant with a laid back feel. The food was excellent. The miso custard and cod were just fabulous.
We had a fantastic experience. The food was incredible and so inventive, with each course served at a great pace so we never felt rushed. The service was brilliant throughout. We loved having a course overlooking the kitchen, and we loved the wine pairing too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
Had a fun time here yesterday for lunch (the shorter tasting menu). Consensus was this is a special place in Manchester and deserves the praise. Great buzz and food was both interesting and delicious.
An absolutely fantastic experience, unforgettable, a beautiful 17 course rollercoaster of flavours and textures, with the service to match from all involved, would recommend to anyone. Chef Barnes is an inspiration to all that is food related, and is most importantly an awesome guy, backed with an awesome team🤟
