A week ago I left Cooperstown at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday and a bit later the rental car's warning light told me tire pressure was low. I somewhat panicked as I needed to drive 50 miles to my motel. I saw Skip's Garage and hoped someone might be there. Skip quickly opened the door to his garage and asked about the problem. I told him this same light came on 36 hours earlier and I had it filled with air, thinking it was a slow leak. While driving to Cooperstown on Friday something started dragging under my SUV. I pulled over to look and my gas tank straps broke and gas tank was a inch off the ground. A Older Gentleman from a garage I pulled over to took me down the road to (skips Garage) and told him what had happened to me and my vehicle. He took us both back to my vehicle on his property and skip drove my vehicle down the road to his garage and cleared his work out of the way to put my vehicle on the lift and he fixed it right then and there. I ordered tires as stated in text and he put the wrong size on. I needed 55s and he put on 65s. He didn't work with me on the mistake and as I have it in texting is trying to say I said other wise. Which the size that he took off my car were 55s. And my car came back filthy. And as i the car owner have never had snow tires for my car. Should if been more professional or rude as he was.
