It's a sports bar. Food is good, seevice is great. We had Abby as our server, she was outstanding! Nascar meets there for good reason. Plenty of TVs, good food and Abby.
Skippy's has been my home bar ever since I moved to Denver nearly two years ago, and I honestly can't recommend it enough. Beyond the great food and drinks (and prices), what makes this place special is the people. As a woman who often comes in by herself, I've always felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable. Our server texted my phone using the phone number I put on my receipt to join the loyalty program because my granddaughter wrote on her separate receipt that she should be nicer. I didn't write anything on my receipt so I'm not happy that she took the liberty to text my phone to respond to something someone else said and observed regarding her energy and service. It's not very professional and it took away from the experience!!!!!
