We buy fresh fish and crab there everytime we are at the beach. The adults are very knowledgeable .
Hands down our favorite place to eat on the island. We always make it a point to plan at least one, if not two, orders from them when we stay on DI. Can’t speak highly enough of their quality and service, and the snow crab never misses. Pro Tip: call or pop by in the morning and get your order placed for later that afternoon; they’ll have it nuclear hot, fresh from the steamer right on time.
We walked in the door 18 minutes before closing. I know this because I looked at my phone when the kid behind the counter told me that they could not steam any food because they like to close their steamer down 15 to 20 minutes before they actually close. It wasn’t like I was going to order them out of business, but it seemed like a hard and fast rule, which must be adhered to strictly. We just wanted four shrimp plates.
