Cindy was an absolute gem to have as my bridal hair and makeup artist. I chose Cindy Le from Skincere Studios (based in Fairfax, VA) for my wedding weekend HMUA, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Finding a hair and makeup artist who truly understands Southeast Asian features — and who goes beyond the typical Korean-style makeup — was such a challenge, but Cindy completely nailed it. When I say it was HOT on my wedding day I mean we were SWEATING. But you couldn’t even tell because of how well Cindy beat up my face. I got so many compliments and my makeup did not move all night. Even the trial makeup held just as good. And I put that makeup to every test possible (😉). But truly 80% humidity, 92F, and feels like 110 and it did not move.
I traveled all the way from Atlanta for an engagement photoshoot in DC and I am so glad that I found Cindy at Skincere to do my makeup and hair. She was responsive, professional, and accommodating. My hair and makeup looked great - I have naturally straight hair, so my curls usually drop within 2-3 hours. Even after taking a hot yoga class the next day, my curls were intact! 10/10 would recommend Cindy!
Had my first facial with Skincere and Cindy was so amazingly professional! Her studio is so cute and clean and she was so bubbly to talk to. I came back to her when I found out she also does makeup for brides and events! Highly recommend if you’re trying to treat yourself!!
