great customer service, relaxed environment – I am a regular customer at Skin The Day Spa. I have been coming here for years. Today I was looking at their website to schedule my next appointment when I saw a review that just didn't look right. These women go out of their way to make sure my experience is great. Misty does my pedicures and manicures every month and they last better than anywhere else I have ever gone. Editorial Review – Feel pampered as you relax at this spa, offering manicures, pedicures, massages, facials, waxing and more for men and women.
Disappointing – I've never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare experiences. But, I would like to say that I wasn't impressed. I had a European Facial and Pedicure scheduled and I arrived about 10 minutes late because I had trouble finding them. Granted, I was a few minutes late but, half way into my facial they told me they would have to reschedule my pedicure because they overbooked the pedicures and wouldn't be able to do mine. Great facial Really bad on set of nails pedicare fair – The Facial was the best in town! Highly recommended. The set of nails for our bride- 2 lifted in 24 hours and 5 more within 3 days. They boast they do it all by hand vs. drill. It took 2 hours and the set was worthless. Had last minute panic trying to repair nails for the bride The pedicures- in plactic bucket with stones and fragrance.- Water got cold quick- massage was good. First of all, thanks for your comments on the facial you recieved. We appreciate your review of our services. As to the nails, we went back over our schedule book to identify this client and found that the bride actually did not recieve a new set of artifical nails as recommended by our nail professional. She opted just to have a few nails repaired. We cannot guarentee repairs.. we do not know who applied the original set of nails or what products they used. Repairs are never as sturdy as new nails that are filled regularly.... read more
Simply magnificent – I would recommend this spa to all my friends. I must say that I have been to plenty of spas, not only in the U.S. but in Mexico and South America. I believe this spa to be one of the best kept secrets in South Texas.
small place... with terrific service – I was so happy that I came here. The women here were so warm and friendly.. and knowledgeable about the services they offer and the products they sell. I felt comfortable the minute I walked in the door. I had an Executive Half Day package and the massage, facial, manicure and pedicure were great. My friend had a Broadway facial and her skin looked pristine and terrific when she finished.
Really enjoyed my day – The thing about this spa that I loved is how comfortable I was made to feel. Very relaxed atmosphere, and I didn't feel like I had to be a size 6 in order to fit in and get good treatments. Since my first visit I have become a regular.. getting into the Pedicure of the Month club which has a different feature pedicure each month. The people are very professional and friendly and each service has been great. The facials are to die for.
LOVELY – I spent one of the best half-days of my middle age life being pampered at this unpretentious but lovely spa!
Best massage I have ever gotten! – This place is amazing! I called and got a same day appointment for an hour-long massage; it was so relaxing that I asked if I could stay for 90 minutes instead. Wonderful atmosphere, very skilled therapist, heated massage table, subtly scented massage oil and gels.... worth every penny and then some. This is the best massage I have gotten in five years of living in San Antonio.
