Stephany has completely changed my skin! I've been struggling with acne since my twenties and spent years going to dermatologist after dermatologist and trying every topical/oral medication under the sun. Nothing worked or changed until I started going to Stephany--my monthly visits and using her recommended skincare are the best investment I've made for my skin. I went to Stephany two years ago as she was connected to one of my regulars who came to my bar. She was so sweet and I've been meaning to go back because she did such an amazing job, money has been tight. But, I definitely plan to go more regularly this summer. She genuinely cares for her clients and she was so lovely to talk to the whole time. These two years I haven't wanted to go to anyone but her because I was so happy with my experience.
I booked a consultation and showed up early, only to wait 30 minutes with no explanation or apology. The staff was disorganized and barely acknowledged me. For a place that claims to be professional, the customer service was seriously lacking.
Skin Shop NYC feels more like a sales floor than a skincare clinic. From the moment I walked in, I was pressured to buy expensive products and add-ons. They barely explained what was being used during my treatment. It felt more like a cash grab than genuine skin care.
