I got a legs wax and a lash lift. This was my first time getting my legs wax and a lash lift at skin institute but I have done lash lift in other places. The lashes are not even curled and there is glue around my lashes and they look a bit white on the tip. It is the first time this happens to me. Also, there is a lot of hair that did not come out and I understand that because they might have been too small, but there was a bunch of wax left on my left that I cannot get it out. I have come here for multiple SSI signature facials (including when I was 38 weeks pregnant haha) and today I tried their SSI Pamper and Massage. I have been genuinely amazed by their students’ skill, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate every time, and would rank the SSI spa above many professional services I’ve received! The price is unbeatable, especially for the quality of care, cleanliness, products, and relaxation I’ve received here. i got a lash lift and tint and it looks the same as when i got there … they were nice though
This is a warning to those who are wanting to go tot school here. DONT! The longer I’m out the more I realize they don’t teach us anything. The teachers read straight from the books and didn’t know how to answer any of my questions. I’ve learned more from tiktok than them! They only care if you’re going to go on to be a Master Esthetician. And I wanted to continue to do that but I would never do this school again. And now I’ve wasted 12k on a school that taught me nothing and told me to google it up when I asked questions. T... read more
