In 2000, Adair Family Restaurants acquired one of Houston's oldest Tex-Mex establishments, Los Tios Mexican Restaurant. Los Tios has been a staple in the local restaurant scene since 1970.

Good food but small servings for the price – I ordered nachos with chicken and beef and It was expensive. around $9.00. I was REALLY disappointed. Very little cheese and meats. It was way over priced, should have been $5.00 at the most. The old skeeters had healthier serving sizes and fresher tasting food. Also, I think the cooks/servers should not act like they don't care, even if they don't. You have to ask for everything.
