Even though I live over 2000 miles away I still have Carl sharpen my skates because he's the best.
As a Pittsburgh skater and coach, I've been working with Carl and Chris for over 20 years. They are first rate for fitting stock and custom figure skates, and the only people I trust and refer my skaters to work with. Purchased new wheels for my Rollerblades. Chris had them shipped directly to me (we live 2 hours away). When I opened the package, I realized that they came w/o bearings and spacers. I called Chris. This was on a Friday. He located bearings that he had in stock to fit the wheels. He included the spacers at no charge and also sent them to me with no charge for shipping. Carl and Chris are both excellent to work with. We were referred there since our home does not have a skate shop. Totally worth the 4 hour drive. I was amazed at the level of service they were able to provide for a skate fitting and still handled the many, many walk-in customers while we were there. The personal attention and care they exercised in trying to get the best skate fit were very much appreciated.
