I was in town visiting from Texas and looked up skate shops near me and Skate Works appeared. I called and spoke to Taylor, who was helpful, and he set me up for a lesson with one of their instructors. I arrived for my lesson and talked with Taylor and he evaluated my board and said it was a solid set up. My lesson was with Matthew and it, was worth every penny. The owner of the shop is incredibly chill and knowledgeable. Helped me get a perfect longboard setup, even though the boards come as complete sets, he let me swap out some wheels and bearings and the prices were super reasonable. Also, if you're looking for the Baker Tim Robinson board, they have a few of the cosmic gumbo and the hotdog one, as of yesterday-just gotta ask about them!
