Had a senior family member with an appointment for a Covid shot booked well in advance and they made the drive in from out of town only to get a call as they were driving into the parking lot that “they ran out of shots” and couldn’t fulfill her appointment. If someone has an appointment, do they not have the doses set aside? What a waste of gas and time for an immunocompromised senior who now has to wait even longer
