I went to the endocrinologist because I have type one diabetes with a seizure disorder- but my seizures are only caused by low blood sugar. But nobody listened to me. Nicole Woodward is who I saw, and she looked all of about 22 years old. And I told her I was on Medicaid about 14 times and every prescription she wrote for me wasn't covered by Medicaid. These people are incredibly rude. You’ll be on hold for at least 45 minutes to an hour before someone finally picks up. When they do, they’ll be rude and transfer you to another department. This transfer process will continue until you just hang up. I’ve tried using the patent portal to send a message to my doctor, but they’ve blocked me from doing so. Impossible for elder people to schedule appointments as everything is going to self serve online. This is just the tip of the iceberg with what is wrong with Skagit. Most doctors are decent however everything else from scheduling appointments to them actually addressing referrals and knowing insurance is horrible. Way to go Skagit regional hope you all are saving lots of money and won’t come back to community for help. Do yourself a favor, travel south for any medical needs you can, night and day difference.
