After an initial phone call and a follow up email to describe a problem with the domestic bathroom light, the engineer visited and within 2 minutes said it was an electrical problem and he wasn’t an electrician so couldn’t fix it. He recommended Slatters. A week later, we were invoiced £113. I understand there’s time and travel involved and was happy enough to pay for that, but this invoice was inflated. SK Heating & Cooling fitted a chiller unit in our brewery, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The team were friendly, professional, and really took the time to understand what we needed. Since the install, our cellar has stayed bang on 6 degrees, whatever the weather, and the beer’s been kept spot on – exactly what we need for quality and consistency. I waited 3 months without heating and I have 3 children! As they had one bloke who knows about the outside air pump I would prefer normal central heating as it packs in every winter and costs more than normal! I’m currently awaiting them to come out again apparently today but I don’t hold any hope last time they said have a nice weekend as we can’t come till the Monday! Freezing cold weekend at that!
