Had a Tesla powerwall 2 installed by Simon and the team a couple of years ago. A great job and its been worth its weight in gold as its provides a back-up supply to the whole house and we get frequent powercuts. Indeed, after Storm Eown we were without mains power for 3 days. The powerwall kept the lights, fridge and freezer and central heating on all that time and because there was some sun and the solar panels still work, it topped the battery up. We have used sjdelectrical twice recently, both times for electrical surveys. We are very impressed with the standard and thoroughness of the work. Gary, who carried out the surveys, is exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced . One of the properties was Georgian and the other approximately 50 years old. The follow up work on the older property was done within a day and was not an easy job regarding access to one of the distribution boxes. Enjoyed working with Simon and Clare. They’ve just installed a 7.3kW system on our roof and it’s fantastic to see it generating power. What is more, they were the only supplier locally who were both motivated and confident that they could install an in-roof system onto our corrugated sheet metal roof. Other suppliers were pushing for either on-roof installs or if it was in-roof then it would be significantly less generation capability. Both of which were disappointing to us. SJD provided a very neat and tidy solar installation on my house. I was kept well informed as the order progressed with regards to installation date, and guarantee and certification paperwork was provided promptly.
