Six years ago, I met Matt when he was the listing agent on a boat I was interested in. I didn't buy that boat, but he went so far above and beyond to help me that I remembered him clearly when I decided to sell my boat last fall. I called him from Bar Harbor and we discussed my options. On his advice, I sailed her down to Charleston and he was fantastic listing and caring for my boat while it was up for sale. This is second time we worked with Matt Malatich at S&J Yachts, first time was when we bought our Island Packet 40, he helped us through the purchases and financing process. Now 5 years later, he helped us again to sell the same boat, we got three offers on the first date of listing the boat, all offers are on or above the asking price.
