I call them about 10am and talk to a young man but didn’t catch his name. I tell him the size of my acetylene tank he says “oh yeah around $100”. Never once does he ask how old it is and after 10 years it needs a “recheck”. So i get there and another guy tells me oh yeah it’s over 10 years old that’s a $25 fee for a recheck”. So the price goes from $100 and tax to $140 with tax. So I literally wasted over an hour of time plus gas in my car to get told it’s almost $50 more than what I was told previously.
