You agreed to it ,set the price, surveyed the yard etc. No matter how tall the grass got. You just couldn’t do the job as expected it’s OKAY. You didn’t try to resolve the issue and suggested her to find someone else. WHICH she did. It’s ALL good. You just need to be open on critiquing your craft. Don’t take it personal. Everyone need to be open for improvement😉
