Prebooked a car, no confirmation email received. Turns out they didn't have the car available. Ended up paying more than the original booking at the counter for something else. For me, the online prebooking system was borderline pointless. Issues seem pretty standard across the states for hire cars. The chap on the desk was helpful and hire car good in the end.
First time I had a great experience with Sixt. Romo he was so professional and nice and he did recommend places to visit and he made my experience with pickup and drop off so easy and professional. I would come back again if he still work there.
They want all kinds of documents and extra steps if you use a debit card, on top of being snobby and having a lobby that smells like a perfume store. Don't waste your time when Enterprise is always professional and has good quality cars for a good deal, no issue with debit cards.
Staff admitted they won’t cover the typical things rental car companies cover (flat tires, glass) if you don’t pay for their costly insurance. Scammy behavior!
