I rented out a vehicle and when I got there, there was no inventory. The agent didn’t even bother to cancel and give me my money back and acted like it was my fault that they don’t have inventory since it was under 24 hours. I tried calling before my pick up and they don’t answer their phone but when I got there they were just chit chatting. I had to call their corporate representative to get my money reimbursed. Such a waste of time. They don’t call to say they don’t have inventory.
They don't do same day reservations, even when the website/APP allows it. Customer service even offer an alternative. Horrible service. Went across to enterprise and rented a car hassle-free. NOT RECOMMENDED.

On 7/25/26, I had a horrible experience with my rental reservation from Budget. I ended up walking over to Sixt, desperate to get a minivan or large SUV so that my family of 7 could go to our rental house. Cindy was the absolute best and was able to get me into a Jeep Grand Wagoner. The overall cost ended up being lower than my total would have been from Budget. Ever since renting from SIXT my phone is now getting three to five robocalls per day. I'm fed up. False advertising and misleading statements - I needed a specific vehicle for my trip. They were adamant that I would get my vehicle or be able to select another vehicle when picking up. Neither were true. I was stuck with a different vehicle and nothing else to choose from. I should have canceled and gone with another company immediately. Sick and tired of everyone throughout the process saying I'm sorry.
