I used my credit card for reservation and it was fine, when they wanted to took a deposit even if I paid for full insurance, card did not work, and bank clearly said its a problem with theirs terminal, manager was not helpful at all at cancelled my reservation. I would never again use SIXT

I booked with them and arrived early in the morning with my Ontario G license. However, they told me that according to their company policy, they require two physical IDs. I offered to email them my passport as a second form of ID, but they refused. The issue is that this requirement was never mentioned anywhere during the booking process even after payment was completed and the booking was confirmed. Also the mentioned we only do for tourists. Its like others are not customers.

Ich habe mein Fahrzeug direkt über die Homepages von sixt gebucht und bei der Abholung ein kostenloses upgradebekommen, das war natürlich fantastisch. Sehr freundliches Personal. Abholung in Toronto direkt verlief ohne Probleme. Rückgabe beim Flughafen auch tadellos. Der Rückgabeort ist leicht zufinden und ein kostenloses Shuttle zum Flughafen ist auch dabei.
