I had 2 prenatal visits w/ a midwife at SIU Family Medicine back in January. I had prenatal labs drawn at one visit, and I expressly refused all genetic testing for the baby. In April, I received an Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company for 2 genetic tests. I called the Billing Office at that time, and after multiple calls was told it wasn't their problem, I needed to call the Family Medicine office directly.
