Writing this to commend the Siteone driver Dan, we ordered some precast planters and had to remove the old ones, Dan showed up an hour earlier than expected and there was no frustration or conflict at all, he helped move the old planter so we could get the new ones set ASAP, probably saved us an hour or more and alot of back strain.
Usually quite good, but I've made two trips to SiteOne Balzac this weekend and both trips were wasted. Hours of operation show open until 3pm Saturday and Sunday, but that's a lie. Hours posted on their (locked) gate show open until 3pm too.. So, not quite sure what they think they're playing at?! No hours or sites setup on their website at all (that I could find)
Super rude staff and shady operation. They will constantly say their scale is broken and charge you per cubic yard. If you do the conversion from yards to tons you will always be paying for more weight then your sander or dump trailer can hold. Horribly rude staff. Keep this up and contractors will just buy their own materials in bulk and start selling it to contractors as well.
Sand, gravel, granite, limestone etc at affordable prices
Went in on Saturday and picked up a pallet of sod. Staff were great, loaded without issue. Took it home and laid it out, 5 pieces have mold or are completely dried out. Called on Monday to ask for replacement pieces, "we don't do that". Employee that I spoke to said she'd speak to Brendan - branch manager. Branch manager said they can't do anything if it wasn't laid same day. My response, "it was laid same day". "Oh, we can't replace it if you've already laid it". I can't make this up.
