Big Sister League has a network of support for women who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. The ladies have weekly case management meeting. Understanding the importance of medication compliance, volunteering, going to school and or working are important step when integrating in society.
This independent living is not as peachy as it looks. Sandy Robinson is a staff who is in charge there (Hopefuly not anymore for Big Sisters sake) who lets staff emotionally abuse women and mistreat the residence and thier family members and children. You are not allowed to get ECTs and live there...only some women can??
