Mover(s) Beware - NOT Recommended! They partner with low cost companies not qualified or licensed. They moved household goods across the country for a job transfer. When the furniture arrived and they opened the doors of the truck there was furniture literally falling out on to the street. We bought moving insurance through North American Van Lines for our move in December 2024–and have yet to receive a fair settlement for the extensive damages. One year after our move, SIRVA Adjuster Charleen Turkette mailed a check in Dec 2025 that was approximately half of what we are owed. We immediately wrote an appeal detailing our claim and despite ensuing months of calls and emails never even got a reply. My insurance claim took months to resolve. The initial offer was absurdly inadequate. Months of back-and-forth finally resulted in a payout that was approximately 3 times the initial amount. Not sure if the strategy was to extend the process to fatigue the customer or something else. The initial interpretation of the damage was ridiculously slanted towards the moving and relocation service. Fairness seemed to be absent for most of the claim process. Be very careful!
Had the displeasure of dealing with Chad Bodkin during a government move. From missed contractual deadlines to a total lack of empathy, to a lack of communication (he does not answer his phone or return voicemail) and unprofessional correspondence, he should not be in a customer-facing role.
