Saddened to have booked this venue for my wedding reception only to find out the new owner is not honoring the booked events in 2019! What devastating news to receive since I’ve booked all my vendors to provide services for my wedding at this venue. � It’s surely a bad look and bad business practice to cause such a hardship on a once in a lifetime event especially when you have a signed contract. The Virginia Dare Ballroom is elegant and spacious! The open layout lends itself to varied setups for all kinds of events. The winner for me were the windows looking out over Fayetteville Street. Loved it! This is truly an archetectural landmark in Raleigh.
