I dropped in to the historic building discovering the bar area straight ahead inside to open up really spacious my eyes drawn to sophistication. 2 cocktails made with care and accuracy for a modest penny. I really enjoyed the seating area arranged with inviting tables and chairs. The natural light shoots in on a bright day around midday lovely for a quick snap. Well known melodies played that are uplifting and enjoyable. Really pleasant visit. Future visits for sure.
The bar at the Sir Thomas hotel has interesting cocktails, great deals and friendly competent service.
I'll leave mid scores as I haven't actually been here, I have however stayed in the apartments on Cumberland street, and I can tell you that the staff from Sir Thomas are quite noisy throughout the entire night, banging and cleaning, with no thought for people trying to sleep, honesty the whole night! Bit of a piss take if you ask me

We searched out a place to imbibe, with a nosh of starters and quiet enough atmosphere to hear each other talking. This was perfect! Luke was over the top welcoming and helpful. He answered a myriad of questions and even gave us Liverpool tips and advice, as first time visitors to the city. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, with just right evening ambiance and easy lighting, very much like a jazz bar.
