Hired Sir Grout for a grouting job two months ago. Multiple sections of grout begin peeling off in strips, so we contact the owner Eddie to understand what happened. He claims he's never seen this issue before, despite many other reviews detailing the same problem. We consult our super who says that because the technician just put new grout on top of the old grout without removing it first, it's all going to fall out eventually. UPDATE- I don’t recommend using this product/service. The grout coloring didn’t even last a month before it started peeling. After 6 months I had all my original dirty grout showing where the traffic pattern was on my floor. This was a big waste of $2000+ for my 2 small bathrooms. Great experience with Sir Grout. Franchise that subcontracts to local providers, who may be excellent, or not. No matter what, the service model is terrible. You call up and speak to someone halfway around the country who needs to collect tons of information just to tell you that don't give in person estimates and you have to facetime them. I do think virtual estimates can be convenient, but why do I have to give you all my info? Just find a local person and skip these companies.
Great service and customer support. Couldn't have been better.
