Kyle and a crew came out and removed a yardlight and relocated a transformer. I've seen teams work together but these guys were on point. They had the job done in less than 3 hours and worked like a finely tuned machine. It was impressive to watch.
I don’t like to give a one star to anybody. But increasing us at 9.1% is absolutely ridiculous. We are already struggling with kids in our home and we’re paycheck to paycheck and we can barely afford groceries. I’ve had to do payment plans on other bills to accommodate the increase for my electric bill. I thought I was crazy. Holly Kruger at Sioux Valley Energy is a wonderful representative for the brand. She is attentive, and resolves customer inquiries with a smile. She is a delight. I have never had an energy company with such a fantastic team
People are great to talk to and helpful, but I have issues with the company's policy when signing up. Just an FYI that if you move to a place with energy from Sioux Valley Energy, they run a soft credit check and make you pay a deposit if you have no or low credit. This wasn't something that affected me personally, but I think it is a really awful situation to pay 12 mo. average ($300+) deposit for electricity (without knowing that would occur when you sign a lease for an apartment), especially as a young adult, college stud... read more
