Wish they opened earlier than 9 am on the weekend. Need more room as a few people in there and it would seem ‘packed’. An hour to the closest gym other than this one, someone should open a bigger one. But at least it’s there and we have something so that’s appreciated and good cardio room for sure
Great Rec center, always functional and always clean
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sioux Lookout Recreation Centre regarding an incident of harassment and intimidation by two other gym members. Instead of addressing my concerns seriously, the administration completely shifted the focus onto a minor gym rule violation (not wearing shoes) while ignoring the much larger issue—two members aggressively confronting and intimidating me.
