I think Sioux falls needs to be stricter on pet owners and raise the fines or invoke fines if there are none for unleashed nuisance and destructive dogs that are running loose in the city. I don't like my property destroyed by these dogs and told first by the Police that it is a civil matter and there is nothing they can do? and then Animal Control says Sioux Falls has a huge problem with people not taking care of their own animals that it takes 2-3 hours or longer for Animal Control to get to your call, this is unacceptable... read more

I called for a bat this morning. And instead of getting it help they took it and killed it. I thought bats were endangered. Makes me sick.

I don't really know if your guys's agency really does anything when someone reports something that isn't necessarily a really big deal. I feel like you guys just come out look at the scene and then just drive away like you're some sort of I don't even know how to explain it. Like literally you just are there and then you're not. You don't do any investigative work. I've reported countless times barking dogs in many neighborhoods and it just seems like you guys just again drive by and you don't actually try.
