I ordered what was supposed to be a 2-3 year old dwarf conifer from Singing Tree Gardens & Nursery online. The plant and shipping came to be a little over $80. What I got in the mail was this dead thing with limp drooping branches. Some of the branches were shriveled too. They used packing peanuts to try and hold the limp branches up. I've never seen a nursery use packing peanuts before. I guess it's a trick they use. The soil they use seems to hold way too much water and doesn't drain as well as other responsible nurseries ... read more

Plants were not as pictured or described. They were much smaller than a gallon plant. Some arrived with the roots practically detached ,others brown. When I contacted Singing Tree many they refused to acknowledge my concerns. I am very disappointed and will never purchase anything there again.

When I complained to Sarah Flower (a most inapt name), she blamed me for every reason under the sun: I should have had them shipped 3-day, I bought the wrong plants, etc. After much back and forth, she offered replacement plants, but of her choosing. Bottom... read more

Amazed at positive reviews for this place. I ordered 2 rhodies. They arrived, were planted, mulched, and died in 2 months. I asked for replacements. Sent 3 emails until I got a response. The response is below. They DO NOT guarantee anything. Instead, I get this snarky, sarcastic response, and an offer to buy again at the regular price after their plants died. Do you consider this a positive experience? I don't! She doesn't back up her stuff, and rags on those who do. From: Sarah Flower [mailto:sarahsingtree@gmail.com] ... read more
