I pulled up and was on my way inside when two guys burst out of the door to see if I needed fuel. I asked if I could just pump it myself and also did they have a restroom. They got me the key and said yes, I could pump the gas myself but they were more than willing to. I always feel uncomfortable with such direct service so I declined but it was REALLY nice of them to offer. The restroom was clean and when I returned the key the woman at the counter was really nice.
Trashy old cashier makes up prices on the spot and will charge you double if you don't catch it, or even try to increase the price from what was scanned. It's not a one off mistake, it happens constantly. Used to stop here daily, but I'll never spend another dime with these clowns. They used to have great sandwiches and cookies, now it's just hot case garbage at outrageous (and wildly variable) prices. It used to be a great pit stop. Now it's just a scam. I just spent $150.31 in diesel and to fill up two cans. Had to ask for help, then once cans filled, they didn't offer to help load and you would think spending that much they would at least offer to wash windows, but nope, I did that too. I will make sure to go to the Shortstop next time! Too bad the service is so bad.
No one asked to help. They all sat in their barn of hay staring at us. The lady with long dark hair sat in her red camping chair staring at us like we were making her sick.
