For the past 20 years I’ve been stopping by this gas station and always got some coffee and used their nice restrooms whether I was on a pit stop with CME known as epic express or with my own vehicle, but tonight I bought a large and a small coffee and I was charged $8.32. I didn’t want to be rude for asking why I was charged over eight dollars, so I didn’t ask, but I left very disappointed. The fuel price is okay but the staff is not friendly
The cashier was incredibly rude to me. I wanted to get some swedish fish and some iced green tea. He made fun of the way I spoke, judged me about the things I was buying (by calling the green tea "sugar water"), and laughed at me. Cashiers shouldn't care about whatever the customer is buying, they should just process the transaction. It shouldn't matter as long as the store is making money, regardless of whether what I'm buying is "childish".
